Troubleshooting

The Scale Won’t Turn On

  • Check the batteries and replace them if needed.

  • Make sure all 4 AAA batteries are inserted correctly.

  • Step firmly on the scale to wake it up.

  • Remove the batteries, wait 30 seconds, then reinstall them.

  • Try placing the scale on a different hard surface.

The Scale Turns Off Too Quickly
This is normal behavior.

  • The scale automatically powers off after 10 seconds of inactivity to preserve batteries.

  • Step on the scale promptly after the screen lights up.

“Err” Appears on the Screen

This can happen when:

  • The weight exceeds the maximum supported range (396 lbs/180kg).

  • The scale detects a measurement error.

What to do:

  • Step off the scale.

  • Wait a few seconds.

  • Place the scale on a flat, hard surface.

  • Try again while standing still.

The scale will shut off automatically after 5 seconds when this happens.

The App Won’t Connect to the Scale

  • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your phone or tablet.

  • Step on the scale first to activate it, then open the app.

  • Keep your phone or tablet close to the scale.

  • Restart your phone or tablet and reopen the app.

  • Go to My Device Management in the app and confirm the scale is connected.

  • Turn Bluetooth off and back on, then try again.

The App Is Connected, but No Data Is Syncing

  • Step on the scale again while the app is open.

  • Make sure you are logged into the correct user profile.

  • Check that your phone has internet access.

  • Close and reopen the app.

Results Look Inconsistent or Inaccurate

For best accuracy:

  • Place the scale on a hard, flat surface (not carpet).

  • Measure at the same time each day.

  • Stand barefoot, with clean and dry feet.

  • Stand still and upright during the measurement.

  • Avoid measuring right after exercise, eating, drinking, or bathing.

Small daily changes are normal. Focus on trends over time, not single readings.

Body Fat or Other Metrics Are Missing

This can happen if:

  • You are wearing socks or shoes.

  • Your feet are not fully touching the metal electrodes.

  • Your feet are very dry.

What to do:

  • Measure barefoot.

  • Make sure both feet are evenly placed on the scale.

  • Lightly moisten the soles of your feet if they are very dry.

The Scale Shows Weight Only, No Body Data

  • This usually means the scale is not connected to the app.

  • Open the app and make sure Bluetooth is on.

  • Step on the scale again to trigger a full measurement.

Multiple People Using One Scale

How to avoid mix-ups:

  • Each person should have their own profile in the app.

  • Enter the correct age, height, and gender for each user.

  • The app will automatically recognize and assign measurements once profiles are set up.

The Scale Shows “Lo”

  • The batteries are low.

  • Replace all 4 AAA batteries with new ones.

The Numbers Changed Suddenly

Possible reasons:

  • Changes in hydration

  • Measuring at a different time of day

  • Recent exercise, meals, or alcohol

  • Illness or fatigue

This is normal. The scale is best used to track long-term patterns.
