How to Recalibrate Your Herz P1 Smart Ring
Recalibration can help resolve certain tracking issues, but most users will not need to do this.
All Herz P1 Smart Rings are fully calibrated during production, and they work correctly without recalibration for most customers.
When Should I Recalibrate My Ring?
Please try recalibration only if you are experiencing one or more of the following:

Missing sleep data

Missing heart rate data
-
Gaps in health data across multiple days
-
Ongoing sleep tracking issues after basic troubleshooting
If your ring is tracking normally, recalibration is not required.
Before You Start
For recalibration to work properly, please make sure:

The ring fits snugly but comfortably
-
The sensor sits on the palm side of your finger
-
You plan to wear the ring overnight without removing it
Recalibration Steps
Follow the steps below carefully in the order listed.
Step 1: Open Wearing Calibration in the App

Open the Herz P1 App (Qring)

Go to Homepage
-
Tap Heart Rate
-
Tap the three dots (⋯) in the upper-right corner (next to Heart Rate)

Select Wearing Calibration
Step 2: Start Calibration (Ring Off)

Take off the ring
-
Hold the lower part of the ring with the sensor light facing up
-
Tap Start Calibration in the app
-
The sensor light will turn on for about 3 seconds before moving to the next step
Step 3: Complete Calibration (Ring On)

Put the ring back on your finger
-
Make sure the ring is in contact with your skin and fits snugly
-
The sensor light will turn on for another 3 seconds
When the screen turns off, calibration is complete

After Recalibration: Wear the Ring Overnight
Once recalibration is complete:

Wear the ring snugly overnight while sleeping
-
This allows the sensors to recalibrate naturally while collecting data
Important Notes
Recalibration will only work if:

The ring fits properly and does not rotate freely
-
The sensor stays in place during sleep
If the ring is loose or worn incorrectly, recalibration may not be successful.
